Hey there! I’m Pete, and this is my tiny corner of the internet. I’m a Cinematographer, VFX Artist and Writer with an enduring love of horror, dark humour and rich, emotive narratives. Most recently I won Best VFX for my work as VFX Supervisor on EXO-226, was Creative Director for 2nd place winning game in the Discmaster Game Jam, and I work as Videographer for the AEC’s IEPP Program.

I am a highly skilled Creative Director, Digital Cinematographer and VFX Producer with nearly twenty years of professional experience in the media industry. Camera in hand I have captured MMA fights, weddings, feature films, television episodes, documentaries (in Cuba, the Philippines and Hong Kong), led award-winning advertising campaigns and produced highly effective social media content for government ministers.

I have led creative teams on feature and short films, specialist VFX post production projects, international television segments, nation-wide information campaigns and UE virtual productions. I have overseen complex project development milestones from pre-production through to publication, including advertising, management of assets and coordination of teams.

I studied a Bachelor’s Degree in Television Production, an Advanced Diploma of Cinematography & Film / Video Production, a Certificate III in Screenwriting and Narrative Design, as well as online certifications in Game Cinematic Design, After Effects, Virtual Production and Editing.

I’m known for my energetic nature, my passion for creative problem solving, out of the box thinking and my love of monsters. Oh and coffee – lots of coffee.
